Hummingbird Farm has been growing fresh produce for decades and selling in their farm store and CSA offerings. Garlic was added as a way to grow something consistently while withstanding many of farmings challenges. We are excited to add this signature garlic to our offering.
Black garlic is regular white garlic that has been cured and aged at high heat and humidity until until it turns sweet, tender, chewy, and black. The flavor is complex without bitterness. It adds serious umami to pasta, sauces, marinades and salad dressing. Anywhere you want an extra punch of flavor.
