Cooks of Crocus Hill is built around the philosophy that everyone in the organization shares in the experience of growing a company. We wouldn’t be as successful as we are today if we didn’t allow our employees to have a voice in what we do. That’s why we foster an environment where everyone is encouraged to speak their minds and get involved.

We’re a small organization, much like a tight-knit family, but we’re also evolving. Occasionally, we look to add new members to our team, whether it’s class assistants for the cooking schools, sales associates for our retail locations, or a new member to our administration. Assistant Location Manager

Summary: 

Collaboratively lead the integration of bakery and retail sales while assisting the Location Manager in the daily execution of activities on the retail sales floor. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to think and communicate clearly in a fast pace environment 
  • People person; Extremely personable, positive, and approachable
  • Top-notch hospitality and customer service skills
  • Passionate about leading & training team members
  • Like to help others
  • Team Player/team leader
  • Culinary knowledge (good to have but not necessary, can train)
  • Previous retail and/or sales experience 
  • Previous barista and/or hospitality experience a plus
  • Computer skills; familiarity using a POS systems and Google suite

Major Responsibilities:

  • 60% Bakery & Retail Sales, Hospitality + Customer Service
  • 20% Training Team Members
  • 20% Administrative 

This is a full time salaried position with benefits.

Culinary School Coordinator

Summary: 

Manage cooking school environments and execute culinary experiences while keeping established values, standards, vision and hospitality at the forefront.

Requirements:

  • Ability to think and communicate clearly in a fast pace environment 
  • Dynamic personality 
  • Ability to lead and train others with confidence and motivation
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service and hospitality 
  • Computer skills and trainable to current systems
  • Enjoy helping others and likes to be part of a team
  • Can take direction well and can execute daily tasks independently
  • Strong curiosity about cooking
  • Proficient in food preparation
  • Understanding of Minnesota ServSafe guidelines

Major Responsibilities:

  • 70% Culinary Experience Management
  • 30% Kitchen Environment Maintenance and Equipment Management

This position is a full time salaried role and works a non-traditional work week. The work week is determined by what is scheduled in the school.

Bellecour Bakery at Cooks Location Manager

Summary: 

Maximize sales by efficiently leading all aspects of store operations including people, physical operations and stewardship of Cook’s brand. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to think, communicate and delegate in a fast pace environment 
  • Dynamic personality with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team with confidence 
  • Previous management experience
  • Experience in offering high level, exceptional customer service
  • Computer skills and trainable to current systems

  • Technical Proficiency in: Google Apps for Work, When I Work or equivalent scheduling software, inventory management systems,

Chef - Instructor (Part-time) 

Requirements:

  • Prior cooking instruction 
  • Strong engagement and communication skills
  • Creative thinking and time management 
  • Ability to Multi-task, organize and coordinate a learning environment
  • Ability to create and write recipes using various cooking techniques  
  • Teamwork and collaboration

Barista (Part-time)

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and recite a menu with options and ingredients
  • Comfortable making a variety of coffee beverages 
  • Can deliver warmth, kindness and knowledge at all times
  • Culinary knowledge (good to have but not necessary, can train)
  • Previous retail and/or sales experience a plus
  • Previous barista and/or hospitality experience a plus
  • Computer literate; familiarity using POS systems
  • Able to work various shifts, including weekends and some holidays

Major Responsibilities:

  • 50% Barista
  • 50% Sales

Time Commitment:
