Recipe: Simple Garlic Butter Pasta with Pioppini Mushrooms

A classic preparation that lets the flavor of the mushrooms shine. 

Ingredients: 

  • 4 oz sliced black poplar mushrooms
  • 4 oz pappardelle or spaghetti
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • butter/olive oil
  • cherry tomatoes
  • basil
  • Parmesan

Directions: 

Cook pasta. Sauté sliced garlic in oil until golden, then add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer with a splash of pasta water. Toss with pasta, fresh herbs, and cheese.
