Who doesn't love gnocchi? Soft, pillowy Italian dumplings served with a ragu or browned butter? Yum! If you've ever wanted to make gnocchi yourself, but aren't quite sure where to begin, this foundational class is just for you. Even better, Chef Matteo will travel from Casa Artusi in Forlimpopoli, Italy, to teach you the ins and outs of gnocchi perfection. Join us for a crash course in how to lose the fear and embrace the flavor in making this tasty versatile Italian classic.

Menu: Gnocchi; Rustica Sauce No. 104; Cheese-Filled Gnocchi; Butter and Sage Sauce.

Casa Artusi is the first center of gastronomic culture devoted entirely to Italian home cooking. It was founded in the name of Pellegrino Artusi, whose cookbook La Scienza in Cucina e l’Arte di Mangiar Bene (Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well) can be found in homes all across Italy and the world. Our team has trained with the chefs at Casa Artusi through our partnership with Esperienza Italia to bring traditional techniques, culture, and authentic experiences of Italy to you. Esperienza Italia is a local nonprofit offering immersive cultural experiences in areas of rural Italy where culinary richness is abundant.

Classes are designed for participants 18 years and older. Teens ages 14 to 17 can take part in a class if accompanied by an adult (18 years or older), but a ticket is required for each person in attendance. Please see our FAQs for more info.
