Not only is Chef Paul Berglund a spectacularly talented chef, he's a really good guy, with a strong passion for sharing food and food experiences. He earned his James Beard distinctions while leading the kitchen at the Bachelor Farmer - our neighbor in the North Loop of Minneapolis and a great friend of Cooks.

Paul's long simmering culinary passion has been Italian Regional Cuisine. His response to our Pop-Up invitation was to brainstorm a litany of Italian dishes, personally selected wine pairings and ideas for a Grand experience. We could not be happier. You could not be a better beneficiary. 

Join us for a special evening with Award winning, chef Paul Berglund in our St. Paul kitchen starting at 6:30. Paul will serve up a four-course Italian dining experience with an optional wine pairing, wonderful conversation and a special visit from Steve Horton, Baker and MIller. Yup. As the Miller at Baker's Field bakery and mill, that's what he does! Now there's two wonderful folks headed to Cooks to add inspiration to your evening!Call your friends. Get a group together. Dinner $70, plus a $10 service charge.

A $30.00 wine pairing option will be available for purchase at check-in on the day of the dinner. So, come a few minutes early! 

Menu: Roasted Winter Squash and Napa Cabbage Salad with Grilled Baker’s Field Filone, Aged Balsamic Vinegar and Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese; Lasagna alla Bolognese; Olive and Rosemary-Roasted Lamb Leg, Italian Frying Peppers, Wilted Kale; Poached Apples, Zabaione, Hazelnut Biscotti.
